AIFAS Empowers Women: Celebrating the Strength and Achievements of Omani Women
Muscat, Sultanate of Oman | 20 October 2026
The Arabian Institute (AIFAS) celebrated Omani Women’s Day with a lively gathering honouring the achievements, contributions and inspiring role of Omani women in shaping the nation's future.
The celebration brought together trainees and staff in an atmosphere of appreciation, friendship and cultural pride. Traditional Omani decorations, colourful displays and thoughtfully arranged exhibits added a distinctive cultural touch to the occasion, reflecting the beauty of Omani heritage and the spirit of the celebration.
More than a celebration, the gathering was an opportunity to recognise the determination, talent and growing influence of women across different sectors, including education, healthcare, business and community development.
At AIFAS, empowering women begins with education, skills development and opportunities to succeed. Through its vocational and professional training programmes, the Institute continues to support learners in developing the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to pursue their career aspirations.
The occasion also highlighted the importance of creating a supportive learning environment where women are encouraged to develop their potential, pursue professional growth and contribute meaningfully to society.
As Oman continues its journey towards the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, the contributions of women remain essential to building a knowledgeable, skilled and progressive nation.
AIFAS extends its appreciation to everyone who contributed to the celebration and proudly recognises the achievements, dedication and aspirations of Omani women.**
Empowered Women. Stronger Communities. A Brighter Future.
